University Singers

The University Singers, conducted jointly by Professors Kathy Saltzman Romey and Matthew Mehaffey, is the flagship choral ensemble of the University of Minnesota. This auditioned ensemble performs Western and world music from the Renaissance through the 21st century, presenting chamber ensemble programmes, graduate conducting recitals, interdisciplinary partnerships, civic engagement projects, and major choral masterworks. Concerts include convention presentations, touring, and collaborations with such arts organizations as the Minnesota Orchestra and St. Paul Chamber Orchestra, as well as other collegiate choirs, civic choruses, and School of Music ensembles.
