Landolfi, Francesco

Born in Caserta, Italian baritone Francesco Landolfi studied at the Conservatorio Statale di Musica di Benevento, the Musica e Servizio Cubec – Centro Universale Del Bel Canto in Vignola, the Accademia della Voce del Piemonte in Turin and the Accademia Internazionale dell’Opera Lirica ‘G. Verdi’ in Sulmona.

He has won several international competitions, including the Associazione Lirica Concertistica Italiana (As.Li.Co) competition and the Toti Dal Monte International Competition for Opera Singers.

Most recently Landolfi has performed the role of Count Stankar in Stiffelio at the Teatro Regio di Parma, the title role in Rigoletto and Germont in La traviata both in touring productions around Italy, and Scarpia in Tosca at the Teatro Regio di Parma and the Prague National Theatre. He also recorded the role of Baldassare in Cilea’s L’Arlesiana on an album released on the cpo label in 2014.
